Tehran, Dec 5, IRNA – Political segregation of a country that resolving regional countries’ crises are in need of its presence is meaningless, Lieutenant Commander of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said here Friday.
“A country that resolving the regional equations is only possible with its presence is not politically segregated and we are today the terminal of both the regional and the international diplomacies,” said Major General Salami in a meeting with head of Iranian medical universities in conference hall of Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Tehran.
Further criticizing the western mentality, he said: Those who wish to govern the whole world or to play key roles in international developments initially need to manage the people’s minds and the societies’ and beliefs.
“While lacking control over the beliefs of the world nations governing the world is impossible, as the nations act in accordance with their beliefs,” he added.
Iran’s missile might among top world powers
“Today the Islamic Republic of Iran’s missile power is among the world top powers and this capability has been achieved needless of the major world powers’ assistance.
Appreciating the crafty guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the lieutenant commander of IRGC said that as early as 10 years ago having far range flight strategic drones was a dream for Iranian armed forces, but the IRGC and Basij voluntary mobilization forces proved that when there is a will there is a way.
“The job began in a simple workshop, but eventually the engine that was built – of the rotating no-piston type – is one that exclusively the British have its technology and the Americans, too, procure their demands from them,” he said.
He said that that technology is today at Iran’s disposal and advanced countries sign contracts with us to procure those engines.
“Our radar evading drones can fly 3,000 kilometer distances, get pictures in their vision’s sight and transfer those images momentarily to their command bases, and they are the achievements of the graduates of Iranian universities,” he said.
Major General Salami also referred to Iran’s satellite manufacturing capability, which was once among the monopolies of the superpowers, arguing that such great successes were achieved under severe sanctions.
