Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has welcomed reports that Iran and the P5+1 have failed to reach a nuclear deal, saying such a result is “better.”
"This result is better. A lot better," Netanyahu told BBC on Monday before Iran and the six countries agreed to continue talks over Tehran’s nuclear program for seven more months.

He once again repeated his groundless allegations against Iran’s nuclear program, saying Tehran is seeking to make nuclear weapons.

Netanyahu said Iran has been pushing for a “terrible” agreement with the six countries, stressing that Tehran should not have any right to enrich uranium.

He falsely claimed that Iran has been also developing intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Netanyahu further called for not only maintaining sanctions against Iran but tightening them in the coming months.

Netanyahu’s allegations came as Iran has always shown goodwill to clear any ambiguities about its nuclear program and the country's nuclear facilities have been under constant supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Iran has repeatedly said its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, including generating electricity and making radioisotopes for its cancer patients.

In their last round of talks before a November 24 deadline for reaching a comprehensive nuclear deal, Iran, the United States, Russia, China, Germany, France and Britain held nearly a week of intense negotiations in Vienna on how to tackle the remaining obstacles that exist in the way of reaching an agreement.
