Iran’s Sarab city signs €9.3mln Naphylene contract with Germany

Tehran, Nov 23, IRNA – A 9.3-miilion-euro Contract on technology transfer of Naphylene Synth to Sarab City in Iran’s East Azarbaijan province will revolutionize the region, Deputy Industries, Mines and Trade Minister Mahdi Karbasian said here Saturday.
  “Implementing this project will provide for acquiring 200,000 metric tons of alumina annually, which is the base product for manufacturing aluminum ingots,” said Karbasian during the signing ceremony of the contract at the Industries, Mines and Trade Ministry.
He said that presently in North Khorassan Province’s Jajarm Alumina Factory has an annual production of 200,000 tons and the country’s demand for this mineral product is 800,000 tons.

“Producing one metric tons of aluminum ingot is in need of two tons of alumna and the European Auto Tech Company has accepted the implementation of this project,” he said.
