Djibouti, Nov 19, IRNA - The Iranian Navy’s 32nd fleet docked at the African Port of Djibouti as the Islamic Republic pursues to convey Iran’s message of peace and friendship to the world.
The Iranian flotilla arrived at the Port of Djibouti on Wednesday after travelling more than 2,700 nautical miles.
The fleet of warships, which includes the Jamaran destroyer and Bushehr logistic vessel, left Bandar Abbas in Hormuzgan Province on November 4.
Iran’s Navy has increased its presence in international waters in recent years to protect naval routes and provide security for merchant vessels and tankers.
The Iranian Navy has managed to foil several attacks on both Iranian and foreign tankers during its missions in international waters.
