TEHRAN Nov 18 (Shana)--President Hassan Rouhani has said that Iran has to develop a knowledge-based economy to catch up with the world.
“If we want to reach prosperity, our universities should have economic bases. In today’s world, traditional economy cannot rival the world and we can compete with the world economy if we have knowledge-based economy,” the president said.
He said that he is waiting for lawmakers to vote on a motion submitted by his administration for pushing the country out of stagflation.
Rouhani said the motion is aimed at bringing welfare and dignity for people.
