Iran wins six silver, bronze medals at 4th Asian Beach Games

Tehran, Nov 12, IRNA – Iranian athletes gained six silver and bronze medals on Wednesday, the first day of the 4th Asian Beach Games, in Phuket, Thailand.
The 4th Asian Beach Games (November 14-23) will open formally on Friday.

Part of the games opened on Wednesday in which Iranian athletes received six silver and bronze medals.

In Sambo, Yousef Karamian won bronze medal in the - 82kg category and Ehsan Karimian bagged silver in the 100kg category.

The three silver medalists in Ju-Jitsu were Ahmad-Reza Eidi in the -60kg category, Amir-Hossein Khademian in the -70kg category, and Mohammad Mansouri in the -80kg category, and Seyed Ali Asghar Do-Kouhaki finished bronze medalist in the -90kg category.

Iranian athletes will compete in the squash, sambo, triathlon, football, sepaktakraw, volleyball, wrestling, waterpolo, footvolley, ju-jitsu, kabaddi, kurash, muaythai, bodybuilding, inline skate, sports climbing, biathlon, and track-and-field.
