Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – Ministry of Industries, Mines and Trade announced here Monday that country’s cement production in April to November 2014 hit 41 million tons, 5.7 million tons of it was produced in October alone.
During the mentioned period 32,252,000 tons of cement was sold across Iran.
During the last Iranian year (1392 – ended on March 20, 2013), Iran’s total cement production was announced as 69.4 million tons, which was 0.9% lower than the previous year’s 70.1 million tons production.

Iran’s share of world cement production in the year 2013 was 1.87%.

China with 2 billion and 300 million tons of cement production in 2013 ranked first, and India and USA with 230 and 77 million tons in that year ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively.
