Muscat, Nov 9, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held talks with his Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi here on Sunday.

The meeting held prior to the start of trilateral talks between Zarif, his US counterpart John Kerry and EU coordinator for nuclear talks Catherine Ashton.


Zarif, who heads the Iranian nuclear negotiating team, arrived in Oman’s capital Saturday evening.

The talks will focus on disputes between the two parties, mainly about enrichment, lifting of the sanctions and duration of the agreement.

The trilateral talks will continue till Tuesday (November 11).
