TEHRAN (FNA)- Tradesmen and economic activists from the United Arab Emirates and Oman voiced willingness to contribute a bigger share in the implementation of development projects in Iran's Southern Bushehr province.
Managing Director of Bushehr Special Economic Zone Abdollah Avara said the Emirati investors have expressed their interest to invest in a project for the construction of a power plant in the special zone.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Bushehr Chamber of Commerce Ali Akbar Sharifpour said several Omani investors have asked his department to pave the way for the construction of tourism infrastructures such as hotels in the province.
Iranian officials have repeatedly underlined that they attach great importance to the consolidation of Tehran's relations with the Middle-East countries, specially with the Persian Gulf littoral states, in order to protect and promote peace and security in the region.
