Iranian speaker, Culture minister condole with Lebanese nation over Gordagh's demise

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Culture Minister Ali Jannati, in separate messages, extended their condolences to the Lebanese cultural officials, figures, and nation over the demise of Lebanese author George Gordagh.


The Iranian officials, in their messages, also sympathized with the bereaved family of the late author.

The Christian writer, George Jardagh, the author of the series of "Imam Ali (AS), the voice of human justice" died in Beirut on Wednesday at the age of 83.

Gordagh was born in 1931 in South of Lebanon and in 1950 started his work in media.
