TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Tehran's Persepolis football team defeated Paykan 1-0 in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
Mohammad Nouri scored the only goal of the match in the 75th minute.
“I am not satisfied with our performance in the first half but we played better after interval,” Persepolis coach Hamid Derakhshan said in the post match news conference.

Derakhshan also believed that Persepolis should have been awarded two penalties in this match.

Elsewhere, Foolad of Khuzestan beat Malavan of Bandar Anzali thanks to a Soroush Rafiei’s 90th-minute strike.
