Tehran, Oct 29, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that expansion of relations between Tehran and Ankara will guarantee durable security in the region and the world.
In a message, sent to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Teyyip Erdogan on Wednesday, Rouhani congratulated him and the Turkish government and nation on National Day of Turkey and said, "I am confident that in light of joint efforts by Iranian and Turkish officials, current friendly relations will expand both at bilateral and international levels to serve the interests of Iranian and Turkish nations. This will prepare necessary ground for durable security and peace in the region and the world."
Rouhani also prayed to God Almighty for health and success of the Turkish president and for prosperity and well-being of the Turkish nation.
