Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA - Secretary of Iran's High Council for Human Rights Mohammad Javad Larijani, heading a senior delegation, departed to Geneva on Tuesday.


 
Larijani is to participate in the twentieth session of the Human Rights Council's Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group which will be held in Geneva from October 27 to November 7.


Representatives of 14 countries are scheduled to present efforts they have made in fulfilling their human rights obligations and commitments, assessing both positive developments and identifying challenges during the session.
