TEHRAN (ISNA)- Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan is visiting Iran on Monday to discuss issues of mutual interests as well as regional and international developments with senior Iranian officials.
He would meet with Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri where the two sides would confer on ways to expand mutual political and economic ties.
Iran and Armenia have taken major strides toward promoting their bilateral relations over the recent years, particularly in the economic sector.
According to Iran’s Commercial Attaché in Yerevan Hamaiak Avadis Yanes, the trade turnover between the two neighboring countries hit $293mln in 2013.
