Iran holds 14th Intl. Congress of Otolaryngology

TEHRAN, Oct. 11 (MNA) – The 14th international Congress of the Iranian Society of Otolaryngology - head & neck surgery took place at Razi Conference Center in Tehran.
“This congress has been held to exchange experiences and review the latest medical methods and techniques,” said Alireza Jafari, the Secretary-General of this congress, “we aim at presenting research and experiments conducted by prominent Iranian as well international specialists from the US, Italy, England, Sweden, Turkey and Germany.”


“This year’s congress approved of 115 articles which will be delivered as lectures,” he maintained, “another 50 articles are presented to the audience in the form of posters.”


Jafari noted that this congress has been taking place biennially for the last 20 years and said, “on the sidelines, the Medical Equipment Exhibition specialized for ear, nose and throat will also be held.”


This congress will run for four days from October 9-12 at Razi Conference Center in Tehran.
