TEHRAN Oct 7 (Shana)-- A senior Iranian petroleum ministry official has said that the Islamic Republic sells crude oil directly to its customers.
“Previously, the existence of intermediaries had caused problems for companies willing to buy Iran’s crude oil,” Mohsen Qamsari, director of international affairs of National Iranian Oil Company, said.
He said that customers have rushed to purchase crude oil and petroleum products from Iran.
Qamsari said the NIOC’s International Affairs Department is receiving tens of calls from customers demanding crude oil.
He added that dealers and intermediaries created problems for the buyers of oil.
