TEHRAN, Oct. 06 (MNA) – The 5th ‘Rain of Ghadeer’ Intl. Confab will commence in Howzeh Honari (an institute affiliated with Iran's ministry of Culture devoted to promote the arts) in Tehran.
The 5th International ‘Rain of Ghadeer’ Confab will open in Howzeh Honari (an institute affiliated with Iran's ministry of Culture devoted to promote the arts) on October 7 with representatives of Lebanon, Tajikistan, India, Turkey and Pakistan in Iran.
Lebanese poet Jorge Shakur will recite poems at the opening session and Jorge Saliba a Lebanese priest will deliver speech.
Iranian poet Alireza Qazveh will also recite his poems; also a group of Indian and Lebanese poets will recite some of their poems to the meeting.
Head of Howzeh Honari (an institute affiliated with Iran's ministry of Culture devoted to promote the arts) will attend the 2nd day ceremonies.
Eid al-Ghadeer marks 18th of Month of Zi al-Hajjah when Shia Muslims commemorate designation of Ali Ibn Abi-Taleb as first Imam and successor to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by the Prophet in his way back from his last Hajj pilgrimage.
