TEHRAN Sept 30 (Shana)--Isfahan Oil Refinery in Central Iran has started producing euro-4 gasoline, managing-director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company said.
Abbas Kazemi said the refinery is able to supply euro-4 gasoline to the entire city.
He said the refinery is producing around 3 million liters of gasoline and that this fuel is not distributed in the city due to air pollution in the city.
Kazemi said Lavan Oil Refinery is also expected to start producing euro-4 gasoline this year.
The official said Mashhad in northeastern Iran will be the fourth city to start supplying euro-4 gasoline.
Tehran, Arak and Karaj have already started supplying euro-4 gasoline.
Kazemi said the start-up of Persian Gulf Star Refinery will provide enough euro-4 gasoline and gasoil for the country.
