Tehran, Sept 30, IRNA - An Iranian athlete bagged gold medal of the final taekwondo competition at the Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, South Korea on Tuesday.
Masoud Hajji Zavareh in the men’s minus 79-kilogram, managed to win the first title after knocking out a contestant from Uzbekistan.
The 17th Asian Games in Incheon are underway from September 19 to October 1, 2014.
Iran’s squad consists of 282 athletes of which 224 are men and 58 women.
