TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Arezou Hakimi seized the bronze medal in the Kayak Single (K1) 200m Women in the 17th Asian Games underway in Incheon, South Korea on Monday.
Hakimi grabbed the bronze medal with 41.807 seconds.
Kazakhstan’s Inna Klinova won the gold medal clocking 40.638 seconds. Chinese Yu Zhou bagged the silver medal with a time of 40.851 seconds.

Some 9,500 athletes from 45 countries are competing at the Games, the world's second-biggest multi-sport event after the summer Olympics, with 439 gold medals in 36 sports up for grabs.

Iran has participated in the games with 276 athletes in 22 sports.
