TEHRAN Sept 27 (Shana)--Environmental issues are one of the top priorities of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), said an HSE official with the NPC.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 9th Iran Plast, HSE director of the NPC Ghodrat Nasiri said the company is most concerned with practicing HSE principles regarding preservation of the environment.
Ghodrat Nasiri said the latest recycling and waste disposal technologies are displayed at the exhibit by a number creditable companies which can be utilized in the country's petrochemical plants.
The official also underlined the necessity of new investments in the HSE section of the NPC, and expressed hope that safe and healthy work place will be provided for all workers and personnel of the petrochemical industry.
"Fortunately, most petchem companies are at a high level of HSE standards in Iran and a positive and cooperative atmosphere is dominant in the industry," added Nasiri.
Iran Plast is running at Tehran's permanent fairgrounds and will wrap up on September 29. The showcase opened on Thursday September 16 in the presence of Petroluem Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and many other government officials and petrochemical industrialists.
