A car bomb blast has killed at least a dozen people and wounded 25 others in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
Police say the bomb went off Monday evening in the busy commercial district of Ur in the eastern part of the capital.
Officials say the blast, which took place when the area was full of people, also caused damage to a number of shop fronts.
On Sunday, bombings and mortar attacks killed at least 13 people in Iraq.
Deadly terrorist attacks across Iraq are usually blamed on Takfiri militants who have captured large parts of Iraq's north and west.
