Tehran, Sept 13, IRNA – A number of Iranian cinema artists along with a group of media and literary figures visited the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in hospital on Friday.
The group included such well-known names as film directors Ebrahim Hatami Kia and Kamal Tabrizi as well as novelist Reza Amir Khani.
The group represented the body of Iranian cinema artists and literary people.

During the meeting, the Supreme Leader recited a number of verses by the renown Iranian female poet Parvin Etesami and offered his views on her lines.

Ayatollah Khamenei was admitted to a Tehran hospital Monday morning for prostate surgery.
