Iranian film heading to S. Korea

Tehran, Sept 11, IRNA - Iranian movie ‘We Will Say Amen’, directed by Saman Saloor, will be screened in the upcoming 19th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea.
The movie will be featured in the festival’s ‘A Window on Asian Cinema’ category on October 3, 6 and 8. A news conference is also scheduled for October 6, wrote Thursday's edition of 'Iran Daily'.
‘Two Parts of a Reality’ by Neda Asef is another Iranian entry to the event’s Short Film Competition category.

Oscar-winning director Asghar Farhadi and actress Fatemeh Motamed Aria are among the jurors of the gala.

Saloor is an award-winning Iranian filmmaker and screenwriter.

His feature film ‘Several Kilos of Dates for Burial Ceremony’ won Golden Leopard and Special Prize of the Jury at Locarno International Film Festival 2006.

The BIFF, which runs from October 2 to 11, is held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea. It is among the most prestigious film festivals in Asia.
