TEHRAN, Sep. 10 – A number of Muslim scholars, Shia clerics and Iranian officials have visited the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in hospital.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei had undergone a minor prostate surgery on Monday which was successfully done.


Chairman of Iran Expediency Council Ayatollah Rafsanjani, President Hassan Rouhani, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Chief of Judicial System Sadegh Amoli Larijani and a number of other officials visited the Leader Monday night.





Lebanese Resistance Movement Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah also in a phone call on Monday congratulated his successful surgery.


On Tuesday, head of Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Seyed Ammar Hakim and Shia Grand Cleric Ayatollah Sistani’s envoy visited the Leader.








Also Iranian Grand Shia Cleric and philosopher Ayatollah Javadi Amoli visited Ayatollah Khamenei on Tuesday.


Meanwhile, a group of scholars on Islam who are in Iran for a conference on Palestinian resistance, visited the Leader on Wednesday.





Islamic Ideology Discrimination Organization head Hojjatoleslam Khamoshi and Head ofHowzeh Honari (an institute devoted to promote the arts) Mohsen Momeni Sharif representing revolutionary artists, visited the Leader on Wednesday.


Leader Ayatollah Khamenei underwent the minor surgery in a public hospital without general anesthesia.
