Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi prov, Sept 7, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Danish Foreign Minister Martin Lidegaard conferred on latest international and regional developments in a meeting on Sunday morning.
Zarif and Lidegaard stressed incease of bilateral cooperation and fight against terrorism and extremism.
Lidegaard, on a regional tour, is the first Danish foreign minister to visit Iran since 2005.
President Hassan Rouhani and his cabinet on their eighth provincial tour traveled to the northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi on Saturday.
He is scheduled to meet local residents, officials, elites, and economic activists during his two-day visit.
