Tehran, August 12, IRNA – A memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation was signed between volleyball federations of Iran and the United States in Washington on Monday night local time.
The MoU was signed by Head of Iran Volleyball Federation Mohammad-Reza Davarzani and his US counterpart Douglas P. Beal a few hours ago.
The MoU signed by the two sides was aimed at upgrading the standards of volleyball of both countries.
Iran?s volleyball team is presently in the United States for four friendly matches with the US national team.
Iran lost the first game against its mighty rival 3-1 in Los Angeles Saturday night in the presence of over 5,000 spectators.
