Tehran, August 12, IRNA – Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim on Tuesday extended his condolences to his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani on the air crash in Tehran which killed 39 Iranian passengers.
In his phone conversation with Larijani, the Kuwaiti speaker sympathized with the families of the victims.
Referring to brotherly and friendly ties between Iran and Kuwait, Al-Ghanim said the two nations have stood by each other in different periods.
Ali Larijani, for his part, said that longstanding relations between the two neighboring countries have their roots in historical and religious affinities.
