BEIRUT: Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah discussed Friday with Iranian Energy Minister Majid Namjoo agreements with Lebanon in the field of electricity and water dams.
According to Hezbollah’s press office, the two “discussed projects that Iran's Islamic Republic is working on or preparing for Lebanon, whether in the field of electricity or dams.”
Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Runkabadi, also attended the meeting.
According to Hezbollah’s press office, they discussed developments with regard to the political situation in the region, particularly the Gaza Strip where Israel and Hamas are engaged in reciprocal rocket attacks following Wednesday’s assassination of a top Hamas military commander.
