TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian and Serbian cultural officials explored new avenues for widening and deepening of Tehran-Belgrade cultural cooperation.
In a meeting between President of the Children's Cultural Center of Serbia Olivera Ježina and Iranian Cultural Attaché in Belgrade Mahmoud Shalouei, the two officials inked an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which is supposed to pave the ground for promotion of cultural relations.
In the meeting, Ježina voiced satisfaction in the expansion of her country's art and cultural ties with Iran.
She further noted that boosting bilateral ties can be very effective in boosting joint cultural programs, stimulating people's mental creativity and fostering artistic innovations among children and young adults.
Shalouyee, for his part, said that both Iran and Serbia have now a unique opportunity to expand relations.
He said Serbian theater groups can take part in an international children and young adult theater festival will is scheduled to be held in Hamedan province.
Iran and Serbia have in recent years made great efforts to further develop their bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in all fields.
