Araghchi, Schmidt restart talks in Vienna

TEHRAN, July 5 (MNA) – Iran’s deputy-FM and EU’s deputy foreign policy chief have started the second session of talks on drafting final text on Tehran nuclear program.


Sayed Abbas Araghchi and Helga Schmidt started the new round of negotiations on drafting comprehensive nuclear agreement between Iran and Powers in Austrian capital of Vienna.

Iran’s senior negotiator and EU’s deputy foreign policy chief held the first session on drafting the text Friday which lasted for more than seven hours.

The negotiations are going on in Vienna today, Saturday, on deputy level to continue talks to compile the final nuclear text.

The 6th round started as Iran’s Zarif and EU’s Ashton held a meeting on Wednesday in Vienna.

On Thursday, Iranian negotiators held bilateral, trilateral and multilateral talks with the representatives of the 5+1 group – US, UK, France, China and Russia plus Germany – in different levels to make their viewpoints closer and remove differences.
