TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers at Ferdowsi University, Mashhad City, northeastern Iran have discovered a new type of plant from Lamiaceae family for the first time in the world.
The plant known as "Goushbareie Binaloudi" (Phlomoides binaludensis) has been collected from Binaloud mountains, northeastern Iran.

The results of the study conducted jointly with Tehran University Herbal Sciences Department have been published in Phytotaxa Journal.
