Tehran is hosting the first International Congress of the World Union of Muslim Women. The conference aims at showing the correlation between the Islamic Awakening and the increase in the power of Muslim women in the world. Leading Muslim scholars from 41 countries such as the Netherlands, Australia, Malaysia, Bahrain, Egypt and Sri Lanka attended this one day conference.
