On the fifth and final registration day, several Iranian politicians rush to the Ministry of Interior in Tehran to run in the upcoming snap presidential elections.
According to The Iran Project, Eshagh Jahangiri, former VP under Hassan Rouhani, parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Roads Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash and Mostafa Pourmohammadi were among those who enrolled on Monday.
Other notable figures who registered on Monday include former lawmakers Elias Naderan, Hassan Sobhani, Hassan Kamran Dastjerdi, and Vahid Jalalzadeh.
