According to The Iran Project,Maharlou Lake is located 25 km southeast of Shiraz and is one of the most important sources of edible and industrial salt in Fars province. Maharlou is one of the most beautiful lakes in Iran. A lake that is pink in some months of the year and reflects everything like a mirror. This lake in the south of the country is one of the main habitats of flamingos and different species of birds.
