Tasnim | Meghdad Madadi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran appointed Saeed Khatibzadeh as its new spokesperson. In a ceremony held at the Foreign Ministry on Sunday morning, attended by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, the new spokesperson officially took up the post. Khatibzadeh has replaced Seyed Abbas Mousavi, who is leaving for Baku as Iran’s new ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
