YJC | Dana Khor Mehr: Storks are among the migratory birds that come to the city of Marivan in western Iran every year in mid-spring. Darreh Taghi village in Marivan, Kurdistan province, hosts about 300 white storks; while Bilo village hosts about 400 and Gholgholeh village hosts about 70 pieces of this species.
