Iran's president Hassan Rouhani has met Yukiya Amano, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the capital city of Tehran on Monday. Mr. Amano’s visit came immediately after the nuclear accord between Iran and the 5+1 group of countries was put into effect and the sanctions against the Islamic Republic were lifted on Saturday following the IAEA confirmation of Iran’s commitment to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
