Iran today has released two Ghadir-class submarines and two hovercrafts on water, in presence of country’s Navy generals and other high ranking officials.
Iran’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari was among the Navy officials at the ceremony in Iran's Southern port city of Bandar Abbas this morning on the occasion of the National Day of Navy.
Hovercrafts BH7 which had been overhauled by local experts and SRNX whose Iranian name is Tondar (Thunderbolt) and has been manufactured through indigenized technology joined the Navy's fleets in Iran's Southern waters. The body of Sina-7 missile-launching frigate, “Sahand” frigate, two Qadir-class light submarines has also been released on water on this ceremony.
