The climate of anti-Muslim sentiment in the United States was “deliberately triggered” by neoconservatives after the September 11, 2001 terror attacks to launch an endless war on the enemies of Israel, according to an American scholar.
“It’s quite amazing the extent to which this kind of Islamophobic hysteria that was deliberately triggered by the 9/11 false flag operation and the many other false flag operations that proceeded and followed it,” said Kevin Barrett, an author and political commentator based in Madison, Wisconsin.
All of the false flag operations “have designed to launch an endless war on the enemies of Israel driven by the United States,” Barrett told Press TV on Friday.
“The United States wasted its blood and treasure, destroying those seven countries in five years in the Middle East,” he added.
The US is “continuing to wage warfare against the Islamic world on behalf of Israel for at least a century, that’s the new 100 year war, according to various US officials,” the scholar stated.
