Many Western countries participating in the Wuzhen summit stressed the need for serious confrontation with cybercrimes and cyber-terrorism, the Iranian communications minister said.

“This issue is so paramount that even many Western countries participating in the Wuzhen summit stressed the need for serious confrontation with cybercrimes and cyber-terrorism.”Vaezi further said, “All countries call for respect for the nations’ sovereignty in cyberspace and want that infrastructures of the cyberspace should be safe and void of any threat, and this significant matter is feasible only and only through international efforts.

The Iranian communications minister also underlined, “The Internet governance should be democratic, transparent and at the same time lend support to governments to enable all countries and nations to access the security they all expect the cyberspace to provide.”
