�The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry has said that oppressed Palestine strongly stands against the oppressing Zionist regime; meanwhile, such resistance should not lead to a reduction of accountability of the Islamic governments for supporting the Palestinians.






Nasser�Kanaani made the remarks through a Twitter post on Thursday in reaction to the recent bombardment launched by the Zionists against the Gaza Strip.

Palestine and its resistance groups are united, determined and equipped; and the occupying regime will achieve nothing from its crimes, Kanaani wrote.

As he underlined, the martyrdom of some commanders of the Resistance front cannot make Palestinians withdraw [from their cause].

According to the official, the occupiers have targeted Gaza Strip during the past two days, killing 25 and wounding tens of others which included women and children.

Earlier, Iran's army chief had said the Israeli military, which heavily relies on sophisticated Western-built munitions, is no match for Iran�s Armed Forces, dismissing hostile remarks by the Israeli army�s chief of staff that Israel is �ready� to attack Iran even without US support.

Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi had stated that such comments are merely meant to boost the morale of the Israeli soldiers and fix the internal problems of the regime.
