Iranian feature film �World War III� directed by Houman Seyyedi managed to win 3 awards from different sections at the 51st Belgrade International Film Festival.During the Belgrade International Film Festival, one of the oldest European festivals, �World War III� won Belgrade Victor Award, Best Director Award and Best Actor for Mohsen Tanabandeh.


The Iranian film has so far achieved 9 international awards, including Best Actor and Best Director at the Asian World Film Festival 2022, Best Film at the Middle East Now 2022 and Best Film award at the Stockholm Film Festival 2022.


Mohsen Tanabandeh, Neda Jebraeili, Mahsa Hejazi, Navid Nosrati, Lotfollah Seyfi and Hatam Mashmooli are among the cast members of the film.


Regarding the plot summary, "Shakib is a homeless day laborer who never got over the loss of his wife and son in an earthquake. Over the last couple of years, he has developed a relationship with a deaf and mute woman, Ladan. The construction site on which he works today turns out to be the set of a film about the atrocities committed by Hitler during WWII. Against all odds, he is given a movie role, a house and a chance at being somebody".
