Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Qin Gang has congratulated Iran on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Qin issued a statement on Friday to convey the sincere felicitation of China to Iran and underlined the need for expanding bilateral ties between Tehran and Beijing.

Addressing his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Chinese top diplomat said that he was keen on maintaining close relationship with Amirabdollahian, implementing important agreements between heads of both states on expansion of mutual ties, and leading the strategic collaboration between Teharan and Beijing to new progress.
