Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian left Tehran for Beirut for an official visit on Thursday night.

In addition to meeting and consultations with his Lebanese counterpart, Amirabdollahian is also scheduled to meet a number of high-ranking Lebanese officials during this visit to Beirut.

Issues of mutual interest, bilateral relations and cooperation, and most important regional and international developments will be discussed in those meetings.
