Referring to the increase in diplomatic interactions between Tehran and Moscow, the President emphasized the necessity of forming and strengthening strategic economic cooperation between Iran and Russia.


Speaking in a meeting with the new Ambassador of the Russian Federation Alexey Dedov while receiving his letter of credence,�Ebrahim Raisi described Tehran-Moscow relations as strategic and emphasized, "Iran and Russia have good grounds for cooperation in the bilateral, regional and international fields".

In this meeting, the President referred to the increase in diplomatic interactions between the two countries and emphasised the necessity of forming and strengthening strategic economic cooperation between Iran and Russia.

In this meeting, the new Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Alexey Dedov, stated that the continuous increase of all-round economic cooperation is one of the priorities of his mission, and added, "The strategic economic cooperation between Iran and Russia has caused Western countries to despair of the sanctions policy."
