Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi may visit Turkiye in the coming weeks, said Ibrahim Kalin, Turkish Presidential spokesperson.

"A visit of this kind was planned. The visit was postponed due to certain reasons. Now the protocols are being negotiated, I think that the visit will take place in the next few weeks," Kalin said in an interview�on NTV channel, APA reported.

He did not specify the time of the visit.

Iranian officials have not commented on the news yet.
