Head of the Department of Bordering Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Afyan said that Iran and Armenia will start a joint cinema project.

Speaking to IRNA, Afyan said that the project will be a documentary about churches and religion.

It will be filmed in Iran and Armenia, he stated.

He also hailed the bilateral relations between Iran and Armenia, especially in the tourism and cultural fields.

He went on to say that 200,000 Iranian tourists visit Armenia per year.
