Iran condemns Kabul blast
He Iranian Embassy in Kabul strongly condemned the explosion in an educational center in this country that resulted in the martyrdom of some students.


Irans Embassy in Kabul tweeted, The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the brutal and terrorist incident occurred in the west of Kabul, which led to the martyrdom and injury of a number of innocent people, especially Afghan schoolboys and girls, and expresses its heartfelt condolences to the survivors of this incident.

Kabul police spokesperson Khalid Zadran told Reuters the blast had happened. The official toll was reported as 32 people dead and 40 wounded.

The explosion happened insidean institute in the Dashti Barchi neighborhood of Kabul, saidZadran.Security officials had arrived in the area to investigate, he added.

 



 

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

Earlier,In a telephone conversation with the Taliban's Minister of Health Ghalandar Ebad on Friday, Iran's Hassan Kazemi Qomi announced the Islamic Republic of Iran's full preparedness to help the victims of the terrorist attack.

Kazemi Qomi condemned the terrorist incident and expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of a group of Afghan researchers, saying that the injured could be transferred to the Iranian hospitals for treatment.

In the past months, Afghanistan has witnessed terrorist explosions in different areas of the country, including in Kabul and in Mazar-e-Sharif and Kunduz mosques, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of people.

The ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility for most of the attacks.

Last Friday, four people were killed, and several others were wounded in a blast near a mosque in Akbar Khan district.

The occurrence of terrorist explosions in different regions of Afghanistan indicates that the Taliban government has failed to maintain the security of Kabul and other parts of Afghanistan, despite its claims.
