Fourth airline between Iran, Afghanistan launched

The fourth airline between Iran and Afghanistan has been launched due to the many similarities between the two countries and the large volume of Afghans traveling to Iran, especially the city of Mashhad.

Gholamreza Najjari, the Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, told the Iran Press reporter that the first flight of Kish Air was carried out from Mashhad to Kabul.

This official of the Iranian embassy in Afghanistan stated that Kish Air, as a new airline company, has received a flight route license from Mashhad to Kabul from Iran, and it is hoped that this Iranian company will establish a flight route on other routes as well.

The representative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul expressed hope that Kish Air could launch a direct route from Tehran to Kabul and other cities in Afghanistan with proper marketing in Afghanistan.

Afghan people travel to different cities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including Mashhad, due to cultural, religious, and linguistic commonalities with Iranian people.

Due to its proximity to Afghanistan and, most importantly, as a religious and pilgrim receiving city in Iran, Mashhad hosts Afghan pilgrims and travelers, and a large number of Afghan citizens live in Mashhad.
